All ages admitted
In seventh grade, Josh fell in love with singing at church, and in his freshman year of high school he finally decided to give music a shot and auditioned for choir, despite the fact that it was deemed "uncool" at his sports-oriented school. Soon after, when his mom signed him up for local theater, he immediately landed the lead in "Aladdin." Since then, he's been honing his skills and is ready to show America that he was born to entertain.
Jacob's parents were high school sweethearts, and they adopted him and his biological sister when they were very young. He grew up in a small town where he sang in church and performed in all his high school plays. Jacob is now at a crossroads between going to college and pursuing his dream of becoming a professional singer.
Bay is known as the goat-tying champion in her hometown, but singing has always been close to her heart. When Bay lost her uncle and found out her mother had been diagnosed with cancer in the same year, she turned to music to help her through that difficult time. Her mom recovered, and they moved to Nashville to help support her blossoming music career. Now, Bay wants to give back to her mom and hopes The Voice can help her do that.
