Funtcase:

James first expressed his love of music through jamming with his schoolmates, taking his energetic and aggressive drumming style from death metal as well as being heavily influenced by happy hardcore and jungle, growing up to a background of Helter Skelter and Dreamscape mixtapes.

After hearing ‘Bandwagon Blues’ by Twisted Individual, James fell in love with the drum and bass sound and began to focus his talents on producing. Sharing his tracks with D&B radio stations led to the first recognition of his foot-thumping talents, under the alias DJ Dose he released for the first time in 2007.

In 2009 James began to dabble with producing dubstep, giving his tunes a big energy by incorporating the drum and bass layering technique into his dubstep sound. His first track ‘Make Our Day’ was quickly signed to 4:20 Records. And so began the raw sound that is FuntCase.

It wasn't long before FuntCase began trading tracks with Doctor P, and an offer soon followed to bring James into Circus Records with the release of his famed release ‘So Vexed', with ‘Mattress Punch' on the flipside, in 2010.

Since then the phenomenon has grown, FuntCase has gone on to create tracks with Trolley SnatchaCookie MonstaEpticForeign BeggarsVirtual RiotjPhelpz, MIK, Engine-EarZ ExperimentDubloadz, Daniil Svetlov, Lewis Cutler, DirtyphonicsDoctor P, Max Headroom, GenetixJakesPersist, Southbound Hangers, Roska, Swindle and Modestep.

Dirt Monkey:
Dirt Monkey, aka Patrick Megeath, has carved his uplifting, bouncy, and unique sounds within the Denver, Colorado dubstep scene and has gained international acknowledgement with his punchy and playful sound design. His tracks have gained support and captivated audiences via many pioneers, such as: Skream, Benga, Rusko, Datsik, Excision, A-Trak, Virtual Riot, Anna Lunoe, Annie Nightingale (BBC Radio 1), Downlink, Ganja White Night, and Protohype. Dirt Monkey’s Remix of Rusko’s “Woo Boost” has recently hit the world by storm, was released on Subcarbon Records, and to top it all off, is supported by the don himself, Rusko. Although this eclectic music junky enjoys a wide-variety of music, he has gravitated towards the trippy, crisp sounds of IDM and the wonky, high-energy sounds of old school dubstep and strives to fuse the two together.

He has worked with a wide-variety of artists including: DMVU, Space Jesus, Illenium, Party Wave, Run DMT, AMP Live, and Jantsen. Dirt Monkey has performed at a countless number of breathtaking venues, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, clubs in France, and Beta Nightclub in Denver, CO (where he has held a residency for the last 5 years). Also, for the past four years, he established and ran the record label, Kairos Audio, with the help of co-founder, Jantsen.

In the future, expect this virtuoso to continue carving a niche that does not exist yet in the music scene and stay on the look out for a 5-song EP coming out in Spring 2017 on one of the most reputable labels in the world. Although, Dirt Monkey is extremely versatile to say the least, his true wobbly greatness will continue a movement within clubs, both boutique and world-class venues, and the colorful festival scene.

SubDocta: Preston Charles, better known by his stage name, SubDocta, exploded onto the scene in 2017 with his wildly successful single “2009 Was Tight”, catching major support from a number of heavy hitters, including Bassnectar. SubDocta is most know for throwing down and producing his own brand of dubstep and hybrid music that he has ‘so eloquently’ dubbed “West Coast Wobble”, paying tribute to his upbringing on the west coast of the United States. In 2018 alone, SubDocta’s music has been released on Fresh Blood, Borgore’s new label imprint and home to some of the hottest up and coming producer talent, as well as SubCarbon, label imprint to the ever-growing Ganja White Night. He has also supported Ganja White Night on a number of sold-out shows this year and has been called on by Riot Ten to support on his 2018 “Hype Or Die” Tour, by Dirt Monkey to support on his 2018 “Rise Of The Octopeel” Tour, and by Opiuo to support on his 2018 “SYZYGY 01” Tour. As one of the fastest growing bass acts, SubDocta has blessed the stages of some of the coolest festivals in North America, including, but not limited to; Valhalla, Big Dub Festival, Lucidity, StillDream, The Untz, Enchated Forest, Infrasound, and Bass Camp, to name a few. With no signs of slowing down, and growing support from all of his peers, you can anticipate his debut EP to release this year on SubCarbon and for his name to continue making noise across the industry.
