Cute Is What We Aim For: Cute Is What We Aim For is a rock band from Buffalo, New York. The band formed in 2005, and have since released two albums: The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch and Rotation. The band was previously signed with record label Fueled by Ramen for their two releases, but are currently unsigned.

Fusing propulsive punk energy, stadium-size pop prowess, alternative sizzle, and a ball-busting sense of humor, Makeout play the soundtrack to the best night of your life. Think of the Massachusetts quartet—Sam Boxold [vocals, guitar], Tyler Young [guitar], Alex Lofton [bass], and Scott Eckel [drums]—as the illegitimate offspring of Paramore, All Time Low, and Steel Panther, and you’ll be halfway there.

All comparisons aside, Sam sums up the group’s 2017 full-length debut, The Good Life [Rise Records], best…

“The record sounds like a party,” exclaims the frontman. “There are so many different influences touching it, but it doesn’t feel like anybody’s uncomfortable. That’s the kind of party we like!”

Whether or not the last statement is true, Sam and Tyler met each other as high schoolers in the Northeast’s fertile underground music scene (we can confirm that for sure!). After a revolving door of projects, the two joined forces with Alex in Trophy Wives. The group built a serious local buzz, performing on the Massachusetts date of the Warped Tour and winning an Ernie Battle of The Bands judged by none other than iconic GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer John Feldmann [blink-182, Good Charlotte, Sleeping With Sirens].

Impressed by the boys, the studio guru signed them to a production deal. Joined by Australian drummer Scott, they settled on a new moniker, Makeout, and holed up at Feldmann’s home studio for a month in 2016 between dates supporting longtime heroes blink-182. Throughout this whirlwind, they collaborated with the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer’s Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood as well as legendary skinsman Travis Barker on what would become The Good Life.

Minshara: Minshara is a high-energy,electronic pop rock band from Pennsylvania. Since 2011, Minshara has toured across the United States sharing the stage with a variety of acts including Hollywood Undead, Flyleaf, The Contortionist, Chon, He Is Legend, SayWeCanFly... just to name a few.

In June of 2014, Minshara self-released their first full-length album entitled "iO", Produced by Taylor Larson (Asking Alexandria, Periphery, From First To Last). This record became the break-out album for the band's career and a culmination of several years of writing music together.

After 3 years of countless shows, festivals, and a ton of support from what is now referred to as "Minshara Nation", the band traveled to Marigolds & Monster Studios in Atlanta, Georgia to record their upcoming EP, "Overnights" with Producer, Matt Malpass (Train, Issues, Dance Gavin Dance) and Matt Holmes (Bobby Church, SayWeCanFly).

The "Overnights" EP is a step in a new direction for the bands' unique and enigmatic sound. The first single, "Superstition" was released on March 27th 2018 on iTunes & Spotify. While staying true to their sound, "Superstition" taps into their radio-friendly ambitions with catchy melodies and universal lyrics of unrequited love. "Overnights" has nods to their past with songs like "The Escape" and "Gravity" that capture not just the familiar side of Minshara but also the new direction of funky pop-sensibility of where they are going. "We even dug deep into our old inspirations with the song, "Winter is Coming". I always dreamed of writing some Brian Wilson-esque 3-part harmonies and we actually pulled it off on this record".

"Overnights" was released on Friday April 13th 2018 in stores everywhere on Polar Phat Records. The EP charted on Billboard Heatseekers at #8 in the first week! Since the release, the band's singles "Wander" and "Superstition" have received over 100k streams and featured on several curated playlists on Spotify.
Brightside: Florida-based Indie-Pop band Brightside was formed in 2014 by five friends: Jake, Connor, Dillon, Will, & Cory.

Brightside has made a name for themselves through their high energy live shows, optimistic lyrics, and their love of making new friends in every city they visit. Their discography began with singles “Filthy Bad Habit” and “Hello Reality” off their debut EP “Feels Like Fiction.” This release bolstered the band’s popularity throughout the southeastern United States which prompted a successful crowdfunding campaign for their highly anticipated follow-up EP, “Heart Science.” Since the EP’s release, lead single “AEIOU” has seen consistent radio play and has become the band’s live-show anthem. Radio success sparked the band’s online presence—1,000 plays quickly turned into 150k plays, and they began touring. The band hit the road in early 2017 with We The Kings & Cute Is What We Aim For as part of the WTK10 Tour. Soon after they set out on their first headlining tour, “The Mixtape Tour” which took them around the southeast with a variety of
regional acts.
