The Waiting Room debuted in 1999 to honor the 25th anniversary of the Genesis album "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" by performing the album in its entirety. Since then, the band has continued to pay tribute to the music of Genesis and Peter Gabriel with a mixture of authenticity in their sounds and stage production while adding their own creative elements to the performance.
